Important information on package and package waste regulation, PPWR, for Tammer Brands customers that places the packaging on their own import market outside Finland<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tammer Brands has implemented a packaging compliance management process in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2025\/40 on packaging and packaging waste (PPWR). We hereby confirm that the Packaging EU Declaration of Conformity (EU DoC) and the related technical documentation for our packaging have been prepared and are maintained in accordance with the requirements of the PPWR.<\/p>\n

Article 39(8) of the PPWR requires that a copy of the EU Declaration of Conformity be made available to market surveillance authorities upon request. However, the Regulation does not establish a general obligation to provide the EU Declaration of Conformity to customers. Therefore, Tammer Brands does not provide Packaging EU Declarations of Conformity.<\/p>\n

This confirmation supports your ability, as an importer, to fulfil the obligation set out in Article 18(2) of the PPWR to verify that the manufacturer has drawn up the technical documentation and the EU Declaration of Conformity and that these documents can be made available to market surveillance authorities upon request.<\/p>\n

If Tammer Brands is supplying your company products under your own private label brand, please contact our Customer Service team. In such cases, we will provide the Packaging EU Declaration of Conformity for the relevant products without undue delay.<\/p>\n

Article 39(8) \u2013 EU Declaration of Conformity<\/p>\n

“A copy of the EU declaration of conformity shall be made available to the market surveillance authorities upon request.”<\/p>\n

Article 18(2) \u2013 Obligations of Importers<\/p>\n

“Importers shall ensure that the manufacturer has drawn up the technical documentation and the EU declaration of conformity and that they can make those documents available to market surveillance authorities upon request.”<\/p>\n
