In autumn 2025, we’ll celebrate this shared journey with the launch of a unique anniversary collection – an invitation to pause, set the table beautifully, and savour the moment. The Maku 10-year anniversary collection represents the core values of Maku Kitchen Life: quality, functionality, and stylish aesthetics. The collection consists of nearly 200 carefully selected cooking and tableware products in refined shades of brown, beige, plum, green, and gold.
This thoughtfully curated collection brings elegant new additions for both cooking and table settings. Every material, shade, and detail reflects a sense of timelessness and adds a touch of everyday luxury – the very essence of what makes the Maku brand so beloved.

Maku Kitchen Life celebrates its 10th anniversary with a new Sarka anniversary collection
In autumn 2025, Maku Kitchen Life launched a new Sarka collection, celebrating the brand’s 10th anniversary and opening the door to the next decade. This carefully designed collection combines timeless aesthetics, nature-inspired floral patterns, and harmonious, earthy colors. The pattern is designed to withstand time and changing trends. The small marigold (Tagetes patula), derived from the Sarka pattern, has given its name to the simplified version of the design, Sarka Patula. The Sarka pattern is prominently featured in the 10th anniversary collection as well as in upcoming product lines, and it was designed by acclaimed Finnish designer Hannele Kiviniemi.
Kiviniemi describes the origins of the pattern: “Botanical themes provided a natural and easily recognizable motif, drawing inspiration from the beauty of the vegetable garden. Cultivation has been a part of my family’s everyday life since my childhood, and this connection to nature is reflected in both the colors and the patterns.”
The Sarka collection also seamlessly complements the color palette chosen for the entire Maku 10th anniversary selection.
“I especially thought of those moments when people gather to eat together – then the role of tableware is to highlight the significance of the occasion. I wanted Sarka to fit just as well with an unhurried weekday breakfast as with a festive dinner with friends,” says designer Hannele Kiviniemi.

Teresa’s passion for home cooking, relaxed togetherness, and beautiful details fits naturally into the story of Maku Kitchen Life.
