Tammer Brands recognizes its responsibilities. Sustainability is one of the four company values that guide our work. We keep developing our operating practices, and our sustainability work is integrated into our day-to-day operations in cooperation with our suppliers, customers and other stakeholders. 

The focus areas of our sustainability work are human rights, working conditions and environmental protection in supply chains, product safety and compliance, and taking the product life cycle into account. In addition, important areas include caring for our own employees, monitoring climate impacts and implementing measures aimed at reducing them in our own operations, as well as good governance. 

To support our work, we carried out a double materiality assessment (DMA) in 2024 in accordance with the CSRD and ESRS standards. Our sustainability work focuses on reducing the negative impacts and risks of sustainability topics identified as material, managing identified impacts and risks, and assessing opportunities. Tammer Brands' material sustainability topics are: 

E1 Climate change: Identifying and monitoring climate-related impacts, and measures aimed at reducing them in the supply chain and in our own operations 

E2 Pollution: Harmful substances, microplastics and environmental risks in production 

E5 Circular economy: Promoting material efficiency, recyclability and circular economy solutions 

S1 Own workforce: Employee wellbeing and satisfaction, occupational health and safety, continuous learning and competence development 

S2 Workers in the value chain: Human rights and working conditions in the supply chain 

S4 Consumers and end-users: Product safety and compliance, and investing in product information 

G1 Business conduct: Long-term partnerships, developing impact measurement, stakeholder cooperation, donations and charity, anti-bribery, and 100% Finnish ownership
