At the start of the year, we launched a project to calculate our company’s carbon footprint and define emissions reduction targets. Now, we are proud to announce that our short-term emissions reduction targets defined based on calculations carried out in the project have been officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative. The validation confirms that our targets are aligned with the objective of the Paris Agreement of limiting global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. The work to accomplish these targets has already begun.
