Advance sales time-frame is getting shorter.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the increasing challenges in the global supply chain, advance orders must be made earlier than before. The advance sales for summer 2022 will begin on 31 May. We recommend placing orders during June so that we will be able to minimise any possible delivery delays

Impact of the Suez Canal blockage on availability.

The Suez Canal blockage may have a significant impact on the availability and delivery times of products. We estimate that European ports will backlog within the next 2–3 weeks, and that the exceptional circumstances may last at least until the end of the summer.

Container transport was already in serious difficulties before the Suez jam due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the shipping container shortage. Due to the current situation, shipping companies are not always able to provide us with information on incoming containers, and we are often able to estimate delivery times only after the products have physically arrived in our warehouse.

At the moment, it also seems that the additional availability of a number of important products will be very limited during the season. We recommend that you evaluate the demand of spring and summer products and respond immediately to any additional needs to ensure availability.

Sharp rise in raw material prices.

The prices of the main raw materials of almost all of our products have been soaring recently due to the surge in demand caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This, combined with record high container shipping costs, puts us under considerable pressure to increase prices. As a result, our prices may change at short notice, even in the middle of the season.
