Spring 2026 is approaching fast, and we are excited to see this year’s new products arriving in our retailers’ stores. As is common across the grilling world, Mustang has made a strong investment in electric grills. The new Dayton and Franklin electric grills make grilling easier and more accessible for everyone.
Previously, electric grills were controlled by adjusting power levels, but now the grilling temperature itself is set directly. In our new models, the grilling surface reaches temperatures of up to 300°C, which is more than enough to quickly cook even the thickest steaks, vegetables, and other grill favorites. With these innovations, electric grills now deliver the same grilling results as gas or charcoal grills.
Griddle grilling continues its rise in popularity, and Mustang is expanding its selection in this category. The new Mustang Griddle 4 griddle grill introduces a unique ceramic coating to the griddle surface. This coating reduces food sticking and makes cleaning significantly easier. Powerful U-shaped burners ensure even heat distribution across the entire griddle.
Among food trends, smash burgers are gaining huge popularity. Mustang is launching its own smash burger grilling accessory set, making it easy to prepare these delicious burgers at home. In addition, we are introducing griddle plates for gas grills, allowing a standard gas grill to be transformed into a griddle grill.
The use of plant-based proteins in cooking has increased dramatically. For many, this choice is driven by ideology, but there are also clear health benefits to using plantbased proteins. We explore this trend in a dedicated article. Plant-based proteins are an excellent choice not only for vegetarians, but also for omnivores.
Fireplaces are an important heat source for many detached homes during autumn and winter. Fireplace manufacturing and quality are strictly regulated, and the new fireplace standard EN16510-1:2022 has come into force by the time you read this. Mustang’s range includes impressive lightweight fireplaces, all manufactured in full compliance with this updated standard.
